Here are my Happy Pills! The world as we know it is not kind to anyone’s mental health. We are all going through something and some people may be struggling more than others. So many people bear it differently but we all find different ways to help the state of our heads. Some need medication, therapy, and other types of self care.
Although it doesn’t fix anything entirely, it still helps to know that you have loved ones around you that support who you are. Its comforting – we all know someone who may struggle with their mental health or maybe that someone is you so let someone know you’re thinking of them during their lows with a little plushie!
This might not be actual medication, but I know if someone had made me a doll during my lows, it would’ve gone a long way. They also say crocheting does a lot of wonders for mental health, so this can benefit you at the same time!
However people choose to take care of themselves is entirely up to them but we need to de-stigmatize mental health issues. Mental health is just as important as your physical self and can sometimes hurt more. We need to continue talking about about these things to help others feel safe in their troubles and to find the help they need. It needs to no longer be a “hush hush” thing or swept under the rug.
Down below, you will find the Happy Pills pattern and everything you need to know about it before getting started!

Nieves Uhl says
Hi! This is my first amigurumi! I’m an avid knitter, but have been really enjoying crocheting lately.
This was very fun to make. I got to round 20 and realized I was already near decreasing, but there had been no indication of when to change colors. I ended up making my happy pill longer, and still very cute. I thought I’d mention the missing color change note. Especially for beginners that wouldn’t know how to fix or alter the pattern.
I love what you do and am always happy to see men doing yarncraft! And even more excited to see mental health normalized!
Thank you for sharing it all!!
