Crochet Jiggly Jellyfish
Jellyfish are one of my favorite creatures. Without a doubt. I’ve admired them for as long as I can remember; anytime I went to the aquarium they were always the go to. I even liked holding the clear (I think dead) ones you would find on the beach. Their beauty and flow is just other worldly to me. However, my love for these creatures wasn’t cemented until 2015, when the Album “Lost Isles” by Oceans Ate Alaska was released. On the cover of this album is a jellyfish! This is my all time favorite album ever created and because of it, jellyfish just hold that special place in my heart. When I was beginning to find my style with crochet, I directed my efforts and had lots of fun making variations of different kinds of jellyfish! I have the old pattern but decided to redo it so I could get some quality photos for the free pattern for all of you! I hope you enjoy making it as much as I have for the past few years!

Time to Create the Bow!
You can also head over to the “How to create your own Bow!” blog post for an in depth version on how to create your own bow as well!
Main bow rectangle
Ch 21
Row 1: In second chain from hook, hdc. Hdc across. 20
Row 2-11: Ch 1, turn. Hdc across. 20
Finish off and weave in ends.
With the bow square, pinch it (pictured below)
Taking a long strand of yarn, begin to wrap it around the both pieces tightly!
Keep wrapping it around until your desired amount of thickness of the wrap. When finished, sew through the center to hold it in place – leave a tail to be able to sew on!
Now just attach your bow to the top of the head, add some detail to your jellyfish face and you’re completed!
