The Frosted Basket
Create your own basket with fast-track yarn! Sturdy enough to hold onto household items such as lotions, toys, yarn, etc. Topped with detail using the shell stitch and the making of a bow, it adds so much delight to your home!

Rnd 21: Sc 14, ch 13, skip 8, sc into next stitch after the 8 skipped, sc into next 27 stitches. Ch 13, skip 8, into stitch after 8th sc 13 more until end of round. (This is creating the handles) (96)
Rnd 22: Sc around (96)
Now, switch to your 4mm hook and we will start working with the 24/7 cotton yarn!
Rnd 23: Ch 2 (This chain will count as first hdc) Hdc 8 more times into the same stitch. *Skip 1, and sc into next. Skip 1, hdc 9 times into the next stitch, rep from * around. Sl st back into the first shell
You will be doing 9 hdc into a single stitch
Sl st to other shell.
Finish off and weave ends.
Bow (Worked in the 24/7 cotton and 4mm hook)
Row 1: In second chain from hook, hdc. Hdc across. (19)
Row 2-11: Ch 1, turn. Hdc across.
Finish off and weave in ends.
In second chain from hook, hdc 3 times into the stitch. Across the chain, insert 3 hdc into each stitch across. It will organically begin to curl!
With the bow square, pinch it (pictured below)
With the curls, pinch with underneath as well (pictured below)
Taking the yarn a long strand of yarn, begin to wrap it around the both pieces tightly (pictured below)
Keep wrapping it around until your desired amount of thickness of the wrap. When finished, sew through the center to hold it in place – leave a tail to be able to sew on!
Sew on the bow onto the basket in the middle of the two handles!
For the finishing touches, now you can add on the ribbing around the basket. Insert your hook between the 7th and 8th row on the main sides and ch 13. Skip 4 stitches, or the posts (Seen down below). Insert into the 5th stitch all the way around.
You are now completed with your Frosted Basket! I hope it adds all the whimsy and cuteness to your home!
