Make someone you love a Happy Pill-O to remind them they’re not alone!
Ah, Mental Health.
So many people battle their own heads and the chemical imbalances that are so present, yet it’s a topic that is still awkward for many to discuss with loved ones. There is so much to talk about mental health, that limiting it to one project or blog post would be insulting to the cause. So today, we’re entering the debate many have; should pills be used to make you feel better? I’m not here to tell you if it’s the right thing to do, but I do think it comes down to the person who is struggling. I don’t think others shou
ld be the decider on this issue for each individual. For some, it saves their life. Others, it may make them feel even worse. Whether or not you believe pills or medications should be used to help mental illness, there is one type of medicine in this world that will always help those struggling with their mental health; Kindness. Truly. You can be surrounded and seen by so many people, but feel so alone. With this project, it works up quickly and it’s not meant for you. IF you decide to make this, have someone in your mind who you want to remind that they are loved and not alone in this world. Show them with love in every stitch that you can help be their medicine and make their world a little bit brighter. Just imagine how you would feel if you felt alone, and you could go snuggle up or just have the presence of a pillow a loved one crafted you with their soul? As crafters, I think we have a very special opportunity to show others how much we care.
Down below, you will find the *easy* pattern to the Happy Pill-O! You are not restricted to any certain face or color scheme, your loved one will cherish it no matter what you choose! Let’s remind those in our lives who struggle that they are loved and thought about!

Hello! Do you have a version in UK terms? Just will save me the time of trying to “translate” it (although happy to share once I have done it if needed)
Vincent says
I don’t, but you have given me inspiration to go back and do that for my past and future posts! Will try and have that done for you!
Melissa says
Hey I am wondering does this take a full 3 skeins of yarn?
Vincent says
This one only takes 2! 🙂

Found your Instagram recently and your work is so great, it really makes me smile! I want to make two of these one for me and one for my man, but I was wondering if you knew how many ounces of stuffing fiber to buy??
Vincent says
Ahh thank you so much!! I unfortunately don’t know the exact amount, but I was grabbing it out of my 32 oz bag and I would say.. I used almost a 4th to a 3rd of the bag? I know that’s not too helpful, but I can say it takes quite a generous amount!
