Art is political and you are not powerless. There are so many ways that you as an individual can use your craft, such as knitting and crochet, to cause ripples in your own communities. 

However, there are many people doing the work and organizing initiatives that you can get involved in! This includes charities and organizations you can donate to and other initiatives that you can craft for and send in physical donations.
