Once you have the face done and sewn on, here is a picture above on how to embroider the face on! 🙂
Present (Make 6 sides)
(Begin in Red)
Chain 6
Rnd 1: Turn, Sc in second chain from hook. Sc across. (5)
Rnd 2-5: Ch 1, turn. Sc across (5)
Finish off and leave tail for sewing
*Assembling the Present*- With the six sides you have made, attach each one to the sides to make a box shape. However, leave one end not sewn together, this allows it to be hollow so you can put little things into it! 🙂 With you white yarn, pull it through and tie a bow!
Scarf
(Begin in Red)
Chain 60
Rnd 1: Turn, Sc in second chain from hook (59)
Rnd 2: Switch to white, Ch 1, turn. Sc across (59)
Rnd 3: Switch to Red, Ch 1, turn. Sc across (59)
Finish off.
Now you can pull some red and whites on the end to give it an authentic scarf look!
Assembly: Once you have all the pieces made, you can now start sewing it all together! For this yet, the legs point out just a little bit and the arms go more straight so it looks like it’s handing you the present! When sewing the present on, you can either attach it to the arms or the body! For mine, I opted to sew it onto the body itself 🙂 I thought it was easier to do these limbs before the face, but you can assemble in any order that you prefer! 🙂
