Scarves can take some time to finihs and if you’re looking foir a quick and easy patytern to keep your neck warm and add a new accessory to your wardrobe, this pattern will be perfect for you. You can even double down and use this as a multifunctional piece – check it out as a headband!
To make it adjustable, playing with buttons is also a fun way to add your own sense of flair and yarn punk into the mix – I had a hard time choosing my favorite button from JOANN! You can check out their online selection or view it in store as well.

Materials:
1 Skeins of Lion Brand Vel-luxe yarn (any size 4 yarn will also work)
6mm Hook
Scissors
Button
Abbreviations:
Ch – chain
Hdc – Half Double Crochet
Sl st – slip stitch
FO – Finish off
Dimensions
Width – 2″ inches
Length – Everyone’s neck is different, crochet until your desired length.
Notes
- Length is up to you.
- Vel-luxe is a size 4 but works a little thicker, so be aware of that when choosing a different yarn!
- Any button works for this project, let it express you!

In second chain from hook, Hdc. Hdc across (7)
Row 2 – x: Ch 1, turn. Hdc across (7) Keep crocheting until your desired length.
When you’ve gotten the tightness you want, we will be adding two more rows.
Ch 1, turn. Hdc into first 2 stitches, ch 3, sk 3, hdc into last two stitches.
Ch 1, turn. Hdc across (7)
Finish off.
Now just sew on your button on the other side!
